About us
Why IIF
Founded in 2017 in Artà, IIF is dedicated to empowering European educators through high-quality, practical professional development.
We are a small organisation on purpose. Our trainers are working teachers in Mallorcan schools, which is why our courses are built around what actually happens in a classroom rather than around a syllabus — and why the schools you visit during your mobility are schools we work with every week.
Guaranteed small groups
We strictly limit every course to a maximum of 8 participants. That cap is what makes individual attention possible: you speak in every session, your questions get answered properly, and by the end of the week you know the other seven people in the room well enough to keep working with them afterwards.
The best of both worlds
What makes our programmes different is the combination. Core theoretical modules and practical workshops are paired with two educational school visits — one in Artà, one in Felanitx, which effectively turns your experience into a hybrid of a structured course and a job shadowing mobility. You see the ideas working — or not working — in a real school, and you get to ask the staff running them why.
Collaborative learning
You will exchange best practices with international peers and return to your institution with contextualised, ready-to-use tools you can put in front of students immediately. We aim to bridge academic quality with a personal, warm approach — the kind of week where the dinner conversations are as useful as the sessions.
Erasmus+ accredited
IIF is an Erasmus+ accredited organisation, OID E10336735. Our course fee sits inside the standard Erasmus+ course-fee rate, and we provide your coordinator with the documentation needed for the grant application, the mobility agreement and the final report.
