Financing & practical information

Everything your Erasmus+ coordinator needs to put the mobility together, and everything you need to actually get here.

The course fee is fully covered by your Erasmus+ grant

The standard course price is 480 € per participant for the six-day programme. That sits inside the standard Erasmus+ course-fee rate, so an accredited school pays nothing from its own budget. Send us your details and we will provide your coordinator with the documentation needed for the application and the final report.

What the fee includes

  • All classes and practical workshops (30 hours)
  • Two educational school visits — one in Artà, one in Felanitx
  • Course materials and certificate of attendance

Not included

Accommodation, meals and transport are arranged separately by each participant. Optional cultural activities (guided visit of Palma, wine and tapas tasting) are not part of the course fee either.

Cancellation & changes

  • Free cancellation up to 6 weeks before the course start date.
  • No refunds for cancellations made less than 6 weeks before the start date.

The organisers reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the programme. In case of significant changes, participants are informed in advance.

Getting to Artà

Fly into Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI), which has direct flights from almost every European capital. From there you have four options.

Public transport

Take the A1 bus from the airport to Palma city centre (Intermodal Station), then the T3 train to Manacor, then the 411 bus into Artà. In high season, direct airport shuttle buses (such as the A42) also serve the area.

Taxi

The fastest door-to-door option from Palma airport to your accommodation in Artà. Prices are typically around 100 € for the trip. Taxi Mallorca 365

Car rental

Recommended if you want to explore Mallorca's beaches and mountain villages during your free afternoons. Rental desks are in the airport terminal.

Travelling with colleagues

If several teachers from your school come together, sharing a rental car and an apartment is usually both cheaper and easier than public transport.

Where to stay

Artà has charming options that match the pace of the courses. Book early — the town is small.

Fincas & rural hotels

Traditional converted Mallorcan estates surrounded by nature, for a peaceful stay.

Apartments

Ideal if you are travelling with colleagues from the same school and want to share cooking facilities.

Coastal hotels

Cala Ratjada is 10–15 minutes away by local bus — good if you would rather stay by the beach after morning classes.

Erasmus+ accreditation

IIF is an Erasmus+ accredited organisation. Our Organisation ID (OID) is E10336735 — your coordinator will need it for the application form.
